Meet: Emmanuel Nwachi

A Linguist, whose research focuses on Pidgin and Creole studies, language standardisation, corpus linguistics and sociolinguistics of marginalised languages. Emmanuel has also carried out research on code-switching, where he investigated the usage of Igbo and English in the Nigerian context and authored a publication in it. He has participated in various conferences across the world and is currently interested in computational linguistics and its application to fieldwork in sociolinguistics..
